ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION TO ACQUIRE AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SITE IN NORTH PORT
Description
Pursuant to the Interlocal Agreement for Public School Facility Planning and to applicable statutes, staff has identified a site for a future elementary school site in North Port. This "Haberland" site is comprised of 92 small parcels and is desirable due to its sufficient size, location, numerous street connections, minimal improved parcels, and overall price.
Recommendation
That the School Board adopt the resolution authorizing staff and general counsel to acquire the Haberland site for a future elementary school as presented.
